Yonadav Raz (הי"ד)

Yonadav was one of six children born to Michael and Liora.
He was raised in Jerusalem.
Yonadav was a man of many talents and wise beyond his years.
He accumulated a vast knowledge of history, geography, politics and philosophy.
In addition, he was a gifted musician teaching himself to play drums, piano and guitar.

Yonadav was considered a friendly giant, but as tall as he was he could
and did speak to any one, on any level. His enduring love for Israel brought him to work at the City of David archeological excavations.

That Fateful day

On November 3rd 2023 (י”ט מרחשוון תשפ”ד ) a mere two months after his wedding
and a month before completing his service,

Yonadav , who serve idn the elite Givati Unit was killed in action in the Gaza Strip.
He was 23 years old.

Life after

Yonadav leaves behind his wife Hadar,
in whom he found both a spouse
and hiking partner to conquer the Trail of Israel with.
