Naftali (הי"ד)
Naftali was born in December 1990 in New York to Daniel and Beatrice.
Two years later the Gordons made Aliyah.
Naftali studied in Ner Tamid yeshiva high school and joined the army serving in the 188th Armored brigade. Having completed his army service, Naftali married Pessi and together they welcomed two beautiful daughters: Libi and Gefen raising them in Katamon.
Naftali worked as a physiotherapist. He was a serious worker and someone
who could always be relied on.
The Fearless Warrior
On October 7th Naftali heard about the atrocities happening in the Gaza area
and immediately deployed with his tank unit to assist.
After a few weeks of patrolling the Gaza border, his unit received orders to
prepare for the upcoming ground invasion. For the next month, Naftali and
his crew members engaged in bitter fighting in the Gaza Strip helped take out
hundreds of terrorists and related infrastructure.
On December 7tz 2023, Naftali and his tank unit were hit by an anti-tank missile. Naftali and another soldier were killed immediately.
